Laid Bare – New Nudes for SS10
Black is no more. Confined to your wardrobe for the summer and banished from the catwalk ñ Black has been replaced with fresh neutral tones for a light hearted introduction to the summer months.
The barely there look is a huge look for Spring. Discreet detailing, beautiful fabrics in nude tones of peachy cream and tan are all perfect for showing off that early summer glow, or if youíre an English Rose and donít tend to attract the sun, then make the most of your pale skin and work the subtle sheer beauty of this trend.
Feminine and pretty is the way forward now. Fabrics are light and flow well against the female form, contrasting with sharp tailored trousers and set off with textures of satin and lace.
The colour may be hard to notice but the detailing of the cut and texture of the fabric is what takes the spotlight.
Seen on the catwalks from the likes of Fendi and Phillip Lim, this look has now started filtering its way into high street collections for 2010.
Topshop, have done some gorgeous examples, as have COS.
We’ve selected a few of our favourites below.
