AW10 Preview: Jaeger
The AW10 collection from Jaeger (available from Selfridges) for the forthcoming season mainly focuses on outerwear with the emphasis being on coats and jackets produced from traditional fabrics, such as mohair and leather, and traditional prints, such as checks.
Belts were used to clinch in the waist so the female form is still flattered under the bulkiness of winter clothing. Hats were used as accessories in a bold form, which are fabulous to show that you are bang on trend… in a simplistic easy-to-do way.
Boyish baggy trousers take the place of skinny cigarette pants and the colour that stole their catwalk show, and reigned heavily over the collection was camel. We have said it throughout the collections but camel is the one colour that is here to stay throughout the new season…
