Learn Karate Online
Karate offers many benefits to the mind and body, including stress relief and keeping you in good shape.
Martial Arts Movies, Netflix Series and Youtube Videos have inspired many people. There is no better time than now to learn Karate, whether you are looking to improve your self-defense, stress relief, weight loss or coordination, or simply personal development.
ARE YOU TOO OLD TO KARATE?
Many people over 40 ask this question as Karate is seen as a child’s activity due to the abundance of After School Programs. Karate is a sport that all ages can enjoy. Karate moves can be done quickly or slow, and flexibility and good breathing techniques are key to improving your health.
Many people fear that joining Karate will cause them to get hurt. Even with protective gear, sparring and kumite can increase your risk of injury. Accidents can occur when you fight at maximum speed, even with controlled techniques.
You can also practice sparring with the free-standing punching bags or heavy bags. This will improve your cardio and help you practice without injury. You can also practice Kihons or Kata to improve your coordination, speed, reflexes, and strength your body.
Is it possible to learn Karate online?
Yes! Yes! We created the portal for members of our organization who wanted to review old material. We started to receive a lot of requests from people around the globe. Although we tried to teach live lessons, timing and connections were not optimal for everyone. It was impossible to coach in real-time because there was a limit to how many people could communicate in live video.
We found that creating instructional videos with lots of detail was the best way to go.
You can therefore practice at your own pace from any location in the world, provided you have an Internet connection.
Although it may seem difficult to learn via video, I believe that coaching in person is more effective. There are many circumstances where it is not possible to learn online. For anyone looking to learn Karate basics before joining a physical Karate school, online lessons are a great way. It can be very intimidating or disconcerting to join a class and not have any knowledge of martial arts. When I learned Judo, I felt exactly the same way.
