Colour Clash
Colour clashing, or colour blocking as it is otherwise known is a fantastic way to inject some life and vibrancy into your summerseason wardrobe.
Here on Browse: Bullring we’re regularly informing you of the latest fashion and beauty trends, and eagerly await your thoughts. You can register to ensure we send you the latest fashion news first, invite you to fashion events and you can get involved by telling us exactly what you think! Start right now by sharing your opinions on this colourful trend in the comment box below…
A look for the bold and brave; if you’re confident with experimenting with fashion, then this is the look for you. Team clashing colours together in jewel tones (very much like Prada this season) or fluoros and neons. Any colour goes, and you can also add bold stripes/prints to the look for variation.
Clothing from the likes of Topshop, Zara and H&M all seem to nail the trend, as well as pieces from River Island, Reiss and Selfridges who worked this trend for the opening scene of our summer fashion show The Show: Dolls House.

I loved the colour clashing pallets at Gucci for S/S 11. Check out my article at http://www.fashion-mommy.com
I love the bright, bold colours – they make you think that summer is just around the corner – I think they really lift us
Just need the sun to come out! Or should i take this as an opportunity to brighten up a grey day??
colour brings some brightness into these dull days
love the pink top and the one shoulder turquoise top too…. and that red mack is amazing
I'm a massive fan of the red mac too Katie. It's currently in the window at Topshop too!
we should all wear more colour – it makes you feel so much better!
Im going to brighten up my wardrobe this weekend :D Im loving the bright colours and the sun is really trying to come out now!
Makes me even more excited for the summer!!
I'm not really that keen on these colours, too much orange, I prefer the pastely shades….if we do have a summer this year….
Love colour blocking, as someone who spends their life convincing people to try more colour (I'm an Image Consultant)having it be on trend makes it a little easier!
Have to say though, although the highstreet stores have a lot of bold colour, was a little surprised at the amount of 'safe' colours around still, especially in the designer stores.
I think the red mac is very Bladerunner….
have just taken receipt of a lovely black floppy hat from reiss and a giraffe necklace from mango-my prize for entering the colour clash competition.wonderful!will come in handy for my hols!
I think that orange lipstick looks awful on the model, red would look good with orange…(in my opinion)…but I do think the pink lipstick looks good with the lemon blouse…
