Charnos Armoury Sleeves Cover Up with Sculpt wear for Arms

If you watch Dragons Den then this idea will be familiar to you. Hate your arms? Or simply want to update an outfit for autumn? Then Charnos Armoury from Mary & Charnos could be for you. A similar idea was recently touted on Dragons Den from the less than flatteringly named company FatPhRocks. FatPhRocks ‘Wingz’ are available in a range of colours and styles and fit around the body on the bra line.

Charnos Armoury differs by fitting more like a shrug. Part armoury, part hosiery, I think it’s a great idea. For the 75% of women who hate their arms, sleeveless dresses can be a real problem, and let’s face it, many party dresses are sleeveless. Personally, I’m quite happy with my arms but I am always looking for ways to keep warm which makes the armoury a perfect alternative to casual cardies or shivering at a dinner party.

There are two great designs, which are available in a variety of gorgeous colours. The 140 denier Plain design (£18) is produced using a 3D construction technique, and is available in the following shades – Night Noir, Mega Magenta, and Intense Indigo. The Luxury Lace Armoury is made using a special warp knitted lace which can be cut to your desired sleeve length without fraying. Luxury Lace is available in Night Noir and Charcoal and costs £22.

With the plain option perfect for daywear, and the lace style elegant enough for evening wear, you have all bases covered. Unlike ‘wingz’ Charnos Armoury looks great as a shrug, you don’t have to hide the edges under your dress and it is easy to take on and off. The dark colours will work with most outfits too, and of course, dark colours are highly flattering.

You can get your hands on Armoury from Mary Portas’ shop in House of Fraser’s online store.
