Prints Charming

The drab days of winter will soon be forgotten as we launch into Spring, and in the fashion world – it’s full steam ahead.  Forget big chunky, shapeless knits, and don’t get us wrong – these were perfect for the colder months – and looked pretty darn good with pixie boots and leggings, but our days need brightening up.  We need to put a spring back in our step…

And so to prints - big, bold, bright and colourful prints; real head turners.
The usual catwalk culprits of this brave trend are among the likes of Versace and Etro, but also opting for the printed fabrics this season were Stella McCartney, Alexander McQueen and Gucci.

In the form of flowers, graphic designs and blurred hazy lines of colour, this look was shown simply.  Most showed us how it was done by teaming bold patterned mini dresses with bare legs, limited jewellery and simplistic black or nude shoes.  This then makes the most of the fabulous prints and focuses on the intense colour of the outfit…
